LeMoine Family Kitchen
I was assigned LeMoine Family Kitchen food blog for this Spring edition of Freaky Friday Recipes. I am familiar with Angela’s blog because I had it last Spring for Freaky Friday! LeMoine Family Kitchen is known for really great family recipes.
I have been away from food blogging for a bit, to concentrate on some personal things in my life, so getting back into the blogging game with a recipe from Angela’s blog is great. I can not think of a perfect blog to be assigned to get back into food blogging.
Let me show you what I mean, LeMoine Family Kitchen has recipes like:
Caprese Salad Recipe
I am a caprese addict! I love caprese salad recipes. I think when comes to a salad recipe, my go-to is always something to do with caprese.
A caprese salad recipe is simple, it is tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella, and a balsamic glaze. This Italian salad is said to resemble the Italian flag. Well, when I saw a Peach Caprese Salad on LeMoine Family Kitchen. I knew that was the recipe I had to make!
Grilled Peaches
The change I made to Angela’s recipe was that I grilled peaches for this peach salad. I was recently introduced to a grilled peaches recipe because I got a smoker grill. Now that I live in Florida, I can do grill recipes all year long!
Grilled Peaches Recipe
How do you grill peaches? Well, a grilled peaches recipe is simple. Take peach halves and place them on the top rack of your grill. Then grill them for about 10 minutes, checking on them constantly so they do not burn.
When I roasted peaches on my grill, It being a smoker grill, that sweet mesquite wood I used really gave that nice smokey flavor to the peaches. Plus as a bonus, I was cooking burgers in the grill as the peaches were being grilled and the juice from the peaches dripped onto the burgers. My god was the burgers so good with that peach juice!
Peach Salad
I substituted the grilled peaches in place of the tomatoes in this caprese salad recipe. This peach salad is AMAZING! Who would have thought that some roasted peaches in place of tomatoes would be so good? Well, it is!

Notes
In Angela's original recipe, she served this peach salad on a bed of arugula. You can do that as well! I did not because I like just plain caprese!
