  • A New Day

Monday I started the new lab. It was nice walking into an office and not hearing the ghetto talk. I didn’t see co-workers clowning around hitting each other. I am finally free of that circus atmosphere. I am finally working in an adult work atmosphere. It feels so good. I feel like I can breathe.

  • Old Posts

I said I been going through old posts. Cleaning them up, adding SEO and stuff. It is great to see the progression I have done in blogging. I see how I made so many typos in the beginning and how I still typo but not as bad. Also seeing my writing style has changed. Yes there

Also seeing my writing style has changed. Yes, there is a few posts I went, “what the heck was I trying to say here?” Also seeing basically the story of my life for the last few years unfold, it is amazing. Like I was just editing the post,

Canadian Poutine Burger is a burger with Canada influence! A mushroom and onion stuffed Angus burger with gravy, fries, and cheddar cheese.

Canadian Poutine Burger I wrote for my parent’s dog, Waldo who passed away. I had dedicated that recipe to him. Then there was the day I got my car.

It was the first time I bought a car without the help of my dad, and I wrote about it in

So how did I come up with this chicken sandwich? So I can not take full credit for the concept. I was inspired by a gas station for this creation.

Wait! What? A gas station? Yes, you read that correctly. There is a gas station around here that you can get to go food in called GetGo. Every month they have a sandwich creation for $5. One month they had what they called Grandma’s Chicken dinner. It was chicken mashed potatoes on a stuffing bread. Stuffing bread is a seasoned bun, supposedly tastes like stuffing. Personally, I don’t think it does, but that is my opinion.

Anyway, It was that idea I had in the back of my mind. Over the weekend, I admit PMS got the better of me and I decided I wanted just some big old messy thing. This chicken sandwich popped into my head. I wanted to do it in a way that would be quick to put together. So ready made items were perfect. I was thinking if you’re in a hurry, that is when this sandwich would be great.

Why Sunday Chicken Dinner On A Bun for the title? Well, I asked on Facebook my friends to help me name this chicken sandwich. Usually, on Sunday, most have fried chicken. This sandwich is just that a chicken dinner all served up on a bun. That was the name I really liked that someone suggested!

I love the gas station inspiration and it looks like a fabulous sandwich! I’d probably have to split it with my better half, but he would likely want to eat the whole thing himself. LOL!

Oh hello, beautiful. Seriously, does it get any prettier than a chicken sammie swimming in gravy? I think not. This one is a must-try!
