Ricotta Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes

The touch of ricotta to these mashed potatoes brings a new flavor to this popular side dish. A recipe from Seduction in the Kitchen

Ingredients

  • 8 -10 medium Idaho russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1/4 cup ricotta
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel, cut up and boil potatoes until tender.
  2. Drain water and put potatoes in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a sauce pan, add the milk, sour cream, ricotta, butter, and garlic. Heat till the butter melts.
  4. Take the milk mixture off the heat and add to the potatoes.
  5. Use an electric mixer and mix everything until desired consistency.
  6. Serve them up and ENJOY!
