Honey Baked Cinnamon Apples came to me because I was sent a large bottle of raw honey to create recipes with in all honesty. Also another reason I decided to make these apples is because I had Honeycrisp apples I had to do something with. Plus I was craving apple dumplings, but I was lazy and didn’t want to make the dough for them.
Yes, I get lazy sometimes with creating a recipe and hey that can lead to a good thing. Look at Pierogie Stuffed Meatloaf. That recipe came because I was being lazy and did not feel like frying pierogies as a side dish, so I put them in the meatloaf. It just worked.
The combo of the honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon, is wonderful. When that is added to a Honeycrisp apple, this apple dish pops with flavor. I personally love it fresh out the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Is it any wonder why I want to get the Coolsculpting done? It is because I love making dishes like these honey baked cinnamon apples and they go right to my thighs!
