I was craving a slow cooker beef stroganoff recipe.  However, I was lazy and but I didn’t want to run to the store to get stew meat for a beef stroganoff. Since I had frozen meatball, I decided that stroganoff with meatballs would be what I could make.

I wanted the meatball stroganoff to be different. I have been working on a ranch chicken recipe, it came to me what if I added ranch to these frozen meatballs in the crockpot? Guess what it was a great idea!

Cook Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours 5 minutes
Meatballs as a stroganoff with ranch flavoring made in the slow cooker, it is a budget friendly and very tasty recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 onces each)
  • 1 envelope Ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 16 oz frozen home style meatballs
  • 3 cups hot cooked noodles

Instructions

  1. In 2 1/2- to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker, mix ranch seasoning, onion, cream of mushroom soup, and mushrooms.
  2. Add the meatballs.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
  4. Stir sour cream and serve over noodles and ENJOY!

    Just wondering, could this be made on the stove, instead of slow cooker?

      I dont see why not. Mix sauce together bring to a boil. Add meatballs, I let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Then ad the sour cream and serve it. Make sure you stir it constantly as it cooks on the stove
