To make this jello shots recipe, I used all apple cider. I also followed the directions on the Gelatin box to make these jello shots with whiskey.
I boiled the apple cider, for the cold water, I used Fireball whiskey to substitute. I also did not bake the crusts. I used the mini premade gram cracker pie crusts.

I think the only thing I kept the same was using Fireball whiskey as the alcohol in this easy apple pie recipe. Apple cider with the fireball is AMAZING! Plus, Jello shots are usually made with Vodka. I thought jello shots with whiskey would be a nice change!

- 4 pouches unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup Fireball whiskey
- 9 mini pie crusts
- whipped cream
- Bring the apple cider to a boil.Take it off the heat.
- In a large glass measuring cup, measure the Fireball.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the top the Fireball.
- Let stand for 1 minute.
- Next add the Hot apple cider, stir constantly until gelatin dissolves.
- Pour the apple cider mixture into the pie crusts.
- Place them in the fridge for about an hour so they can cool and harden.
- Take them out, slice into 4 pieces for each pie.
- Garnish with whipped cream and ENJOY!
You can substitute tart cherry juice for apple cider and make cherry pie shots!
