Sour Cream Onion Dip
When I researched for a french onion dip recipe, every sour cream onion dip used soup mix. I didn’t want to use an onion soup mix for my sour cream onion dip. I wanted a real homemade dip. So I created one.

Homemade Dip
To make this homemade dip even more wonderful I added some balsamic vinegar. Why add balsamic to a French onion dip recipe? Because I totally love balsamic and at the time, I was adding balsamic to everything.
Then I added bacon to this sour cream onion dip, I mean who doesn’t like bacon? Viola! one awesome homemade dip!
