What is it about cheese dip recipes that people go gaga over? I admit, if I see a cheese dip at a party I am all over it. Anything cheese isn’t just cheese dip recipes I will go crazy over.
Mexican Dip
I have seen a few Mexican dips at parties and pot lucks and they are good. A Mexican dip can be anything from a simple cheese dip to a 7 layer dip. But the one Mexican dip recipe I love is a white cheese dip.
Queso Blanco Dip
That white cheese dip is called a queso blanco dip. It translates to a white cheese dip. What I like about the queso blano is that I can make it spicy or I can make the cheese dip mild.
No matter how spicy I make the queso, it is simply yummy. Plus this white cheese dip is so easy to make.
Easy Queso Dip
If you want to make a cheese dip that is easy, it doesn’t get any easier then a queso dip. So what makes it easy queso dip? It is because you’re simply melting white cheese! That is why it is an easy queso dip!
Nacho Cheese Sauce
Do you know what else this queso blanco dip is also good for? Nacho cheese sauce! That is right, I like making up a batch of this white cheese dip and using it as a nacho cheese sauce on my nachos!
The only difference between a white cheese dip and the yellow nacho cheese sauce is the color! So why not pour some of this queso blanco dip onto your nachos!
Queso Blanco Dip
Queso Blanco Dip is a Mexican white cheese dip. This easy queso dip can be served up at parties with or as a nacho cheese sauce on nachos! This white cheese dip is yummy.
Ingredients
- 1 lb white American cheese, cubed
- 2 (4 oz) cans diced green chilies, undrained
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon
Instructions
- In a saucepot, add the heavy cream, cumin, and chicken bouillon.
- As it starts to simmer, add in the cheese.
- Stir until the cheese is melted.
- Take off the heat and serve it up and ENJOY!
Notes
You can use a mini crockpot for this recipe. Put all in the mini crockpot put on low and stir occasionally. When the cheese is melted keep it on warm for your party!
