Chuck Roast Ideas
My local store had chuck roasts buy one get one free. So I needed chuck roast ideas. I thought of how my mom would make a moist slow cooker roast beef every Sunday.
Roast Beef Recipe
Growing up, every Sunday we had a roast beef recipe for dinner. My mom would add beef broth, onions, and an eye of round roast in the slow cooker. It was always a tender roast beef.
Moist Slow Cooker Roast Beef
As simple as my mom’s beef roast recipe is, it did lack a little flavor. However, cooking the beef roast in a slow cooker resulted in a moist slow cooker roast beef.
Roast Beef With Gravy
I wanted to make a slow cooker roast beef recipe and let the beef cook all day. The best way to get that tender roast beef but also the flavor is to do it as roast beef with gravy. I love a roast beef recipe that simply melts in your mouth.
Balsamic Sauce
I love balsamic. So why not make the gravy as a balsamic sauce? I set about creating this tangy roast beef with gravy for my moist slow cooker roast beef recipe.
The aroma coming from the slow cooker made my apartment smell so good. I served this beef roast up with mashed potatoes. Then poured this tangy balsamic sauce on both the roast beef and mashed potatoes. This roast beef recipe was licked the plate good!
