Dessert Cheese Ball

I have had plenty of savory cheeseballs. They are great appetizers. How about we do something different and create a dessert cheese ball?

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball is very addicting.

I love making cheese balls. The recipe for them is super simple and can be made within 30 minutes. Most cheese balls do have nuts it rolled in, but I like doing recipes differently.

To make the perfect cheese ball recipe, you have to be a little different. That was why I decided to do a chocolate chip cheeseball. There is a need for a dessert cheese ball.

Sweet Cream Cheese Ball

The idea came to me to do a sweet cheese ball instead of a savory one. Why? Well, why not? An appetizer that is also like a dessert and a sweet cream cheese ball sound like a winning combination in my book!

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball Without Nuts

I wanted to do a sweet cheese ball when I saw from Pampered Chef chocolate chip cheese ball recipe on the website AllRecipes. However, that chocolate chip ball had nuts on it. I wanted to do a chocolate chip cheese ball without nuts.

Cheese Ball Recipe

I like nuts, don’t get me wrong but I know there are people out there that can not have nuts due to health issues. One of which is my mom, she has to watch eating nuts. No not an allergy, but more from diverticulitis is why.

So a sweet cream cheese ball without nuts is a needed recipe. Not only for ones like my mom but allergy sensitivity people as well. Plus, it has chocolate, so the nuts are not missed in this sweet appetizer.

Another reason I decided on whipping up this chocolate chip cheese ball beside the fact had no nuts and was a sweet cheese ball, was because I was really craving chocolate. Valentine’s Day is coming up, and you know that is a chocolate lover holiday. So a chocolate chip ball is perfect!

My thought was this semi-sweet chocolate chips recipe would be a nice thing to make for a night at home for Valentine’s Day. If your Valentine is your kids, this easy appetizer recipe would be perfect for them too.
