Mimmolette

What is Mimmolette? Mimmolette hails from the Normandy region of France. Its delicious semi-firm cheese has a sharp and nutty flavor.

When I did research for this cheese I found out that this particular French cheese is considered one the best cheeses to use on the classic grilled cheese sandwich. It also is amazing in #macaroniandcheese.

I decided to go for an American classic taste, but with French appeal. The answer to me was simple. I used a Philly cheesesteak as my inspiration for this grilled cheese.

One bite of this buttery, cheese creation, I knew I had a hit. Mimolette was born to be in grilled cheese. Then with the added steak to that mix, it is sandwich heaven.
