Leftover thanksgiving recipe

We had a huge Thanksgiving meal, and now we need leftover thanksgiving recipes. You can make casseroles with the turkey and stuffing. Plus you can sandwich like my Cranberry Turkey Melt {Thanksgiving Essentials Melt Sandwich} with the leftover homemade cranberry sauce. What else can you do with the cranberries?

It is time to get creative with a leftover thanksgiving recipe. What about going for a salad idea with the homemade cranberry sauce?

Balsamic dressing recipe

The idea of making a balsamic dressing recipe out of the cranberry sauce came when I saw a limited edition salad dressing that was cranberry flavored. There are salads with cranberries. So why not make a balsamic dressing recipe that has cranberry flavor!

Homemade cranberry sauce

Do you have to use homemade cranberry sauce in this balsamic dressing recipe? No, If you had the canned cranberry sauce, it will work too. However, I do think the homemade, like my Orange Cherry Cranberry Sauce tastes really good in this leftover thanksgiving recipe.

Another reason, I like using the leftover cranberries on a salad dressing recipe, it helps extend the life of that homemade cranberry sauce you made. When it made into a balsamic dressing recipe, it can last up to 7 days in the refrigerator!
