Last Day of Choctoberfest

It is the last day of choctoberfest. I hope you enjoyed you enjoyed this rears recipes of Chocolate Cherry Almond Chutney and Chocolate Wine Smoothie . I really enjoyed the creations I came up this year with Davis Chocolate, Imperial Sugar, and Rodelle Vanilla.

Again I decided to create a recipe using  Davis Chocolate peanut butter chips. These chips are the only organic peanut butter chip on the market. Plus they are organic, soy, and dairy free. Plus they just taste fantastic.

The idea to use these peanut butter chips to create this Chocolate Peanut Butter Pull Apart Bread truthfully came from a recipe video I saw. The video was for a Nutella bread. When I saw how easy it was to create the pull apart bread, I thought I wonder if I can do something like that.

Many ideas came to me, truthfully it was the Davis Peanut Butter Chips that won out. That is how this yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Pull Apart Bread came to be. I still felt like the bread needed something. That was when the chocolate and peanut butter drizzle came into play.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
  • 3/4 cup Davis Chocolte Peanut Butter Chips
  • 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

In a loaf pan, line it with parchment paper.

Preheat oven to 350°

Separate the biscuits and then take each biscuit and pull apart those flaky layers so that each biscuit is now 2 biscuits.

On one of the rounds put some of the Davis Peanut Butter Chips

Place the biscuits on top of each other so that the chips are covered by a plain bottom of dough.

Place the loaf in the pan. Using a biscuit with no chips, place on the end.

Bake in the oven until the biscuits have puffed up and turned lightly golden on top, 38 to 40 minutes.

When the bread is done, melt the chocolate chips and drizzle the melted chocolate over the bread.

Next, melt about 1/4 cup of the Davis Peanut Butter chips and drizzle it over the melted chocolate.

Let the bread sit for about 15-20 minutes, then ENJOY!

You know, I’ve never made pull-apart bread before — but if I ever do, it will totally be this one! I’m not huge on chocolate alone, but I love love PB and the combo is always a win. It helps the chocolate shine.
